Run the pace you planned—using your music.
This app adjusts your music tempo to match your target running pace, so you can run by rhythm instead of constantly checking your watch.
No spam. Just progress updates and early access when it’s ready.
Running to music sounds simple.
Staying on pace isn’t.
Many runners try to match their pace to music.
But most solutions are clunky:
-
Manually building BPM playlists
-
Switching songs mid-run
-
Using metronomes in the background
-
Constantly checking a watch
Some apps tried to solve this, but the features disappeared or only worked with limited song libraries.
There still isn’t a simple tool that:
-
Uses your actual music
-
And matches it to your target pace
Pace is being built to change that.
The PACE Process
01. Connect Music
Connect services like Apple Music or Spotify to sync your favorite personal music and library playlists.
02. Set Your Pace
Set your target pace at the start and choose the playlists you want to power your rhythm throughout the run.
03. Run naturally to the beat.
Your music tempo adjusts smoothly to match your pace. No constant watch-checking. Just run to the beat.

THE RHYTHM COLLECTIVE
A small community of runners who believe music should guide the run—not distract from it.
This project is being built in the open, with feedback from the early runner email list.
"If this works the way it sounds, I’d use it every run."

"I always run too fast at the start. Music pacing would help a lot."

"This could replace constantly checking my watch."

About the Founder
I’m a runner and engineering student who noticed how much music can affect pace.
Some songs made easy runs too fast. Others made workouts feel sluggish.
So I started building a simple app that adjusts music tempo to match a planned pace.
It’s being built step by step, with feedback from the early runners email list.
